Snaptek ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Snaptek collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application.
We believe your data belongs to you. Snaptek is designed with privacy as a core principle.
Information We Collect
Snaptek processes data primarily on your device. Here is what we handle:
- Notes, workouts, recipes, expenses, medications, and bookmarks — All content you create is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud Sync (Pro), within your private iCloud account.
- AI processing data — AI Note Assistant features run entirely on-device using Apple Intelligence. Your notes are never sent to external servers for AI processing.
- Health data — If you enable Apple Health Sync (Pro), workout data syncs with Apple Health on your device. We do not access or store this data on our servers.
- Purchase information — Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number) unless you contact us directly.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- We do not store your content on our servers.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud Smart Sync (a Pro feature), your data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
On-Device Processing
All AI features, including Improve Writing, Summarize, Make Shorter, Make Clearer, Fix Grammar, Generate Title, Turn into Checklist, and Help Me Write, are processed entirely on your device. No note content leaves your device for AI processing.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage mechanisms. If you enable the Security Lock feature, your data is additionally protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Third-Party Services
Snaptek integrates with the following Apple services:
- Apple CloudKit — For iCloud Sync (Pro feature only)
- Apple HealthKit — For Apple Health Sync (Pro feature only, opt-in)
- Apple StoreKit — For subscription management
These integrations are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
Snaptek does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
